Meet Taylor OTR/L, cpt

OTR/L, NASM-CPT
Occupational Therapist | Medical Fitness & Movement Specialist

I’m Taylor, an occupational therapist and movement professional with a passion for helping people do more than simply recover.

Throughout my career in orthopedic rehabilitation, I kept seeing the same problem: patients would work hard in therapy, improve their pain and function, and eventually be discharged—but there was often no clear next step. They were better, but they didn’t necessarily feel strong, confident, or prepared to return to everything they wanted to do.

MoveAura was created to change that.

My clinical background is rooted in orthopedic occupational therapy, with a focus on the hand and upper extremity, peripheral nerve conditions, spine, musculoskeletal injuries, post-operative rehabilitation and custom splinting. But I’ve always believed that successful rehabilitation should extend beyond treating an isolated injury.

The body works as a whole—and recovery should too.

As a licensed Occupational Therapist, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, I’ve built my approach around combining clinical knowledge with strength, movement and long-term wellness. Rather than separating rehabilitation from fitness, I use my background across both worlds to create a more complete path forward.

WHY MOVEAURA?

Because getting out of pain shouldn’t be the finish line.

MoveAura is designed to bridge the space between rehabilitation and real-world strength. Whether you’re recovering from an orthopedic injury, dealing with a persistent limitation, transitioning out of OT or PT, or simply looking for a more intelligent way to train, the goal is the same:

Move better. Get stronger. Stay capable.

Every person who walks through the door has a different history, lifestyle and definition of what feeling good looks like. That’s why care at MoveAura is intentionally individualized. We look beyond a diagnosis and consider how you move, what you need to do every day, what you want to get back to—and where you want to go next.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I don’t believe you should have to choose between being a patient and being an athlete.

You can be recovering and getting stronger.
You can work on pain while building confidence.
You can finish therapy without finishing your progress.

MoveAura exists to create that continuum:

RECOVER → REBUILD → GET STRONGER

Because the goal isn’t simply to return to where you were.

It’s to build what comes next.

“WAIT… I THOUGHT OT WAS FOR WORK?”

Trust me, I’ve heard it before.

Despite the name, occupational therapy isn’t about finding you a job. In OT, an occupation is anything you need or want to do in your everyday life — from getting dressed and working at a computer to lifting weights, playing a sport, carrying your kids, or simply moving without pain.

And occupational therapy is a huge profession. I’ve intentionally chosen to specialize in the areas I’m most passionate about: orthopedics, upper-extremity rehabilitation, peripheral nerve conditions, and full-body reconditioning.

My clinical work may involve the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, neck, spine, and nervous system, but I don’t believe treatment should stop at one body part. The body moves as a system.

That’s why I created MoveAura.

I wanted a space where I could take someone from injury → recovery → strength → performance, combining my background as an occupational therapist and personal training with strength and movement training to help people get back to doing what matters to them — and come back stronger.

Because getting discharged from therapy shouldn’t be the finish line.

MOVE BETTER. MOVE STRONGER. MOVE AURA
